Our Mission and Vision
Rise TN Mentoring was launched in 2025 in Maury County, TN after local leaders and educators recognized that many students with tremendous potential could benefit from additional encouragement, support, and positive adult relationships outside the classroom. Many students today are navigating challenges such as changing family dynamics, social pressures, low motivation, and uncertainty about their future. Rise TN exists to connect students with caring mentors and meaningful opportunities that encourage positive choices, build confidence, and inspire hope for their future.
Through mentorship, encouragement, and consistent support, we want students to understand that the choices they make each day can positively shape their future, regardless of the challenges they may face along the way. Our goal is to help students recognize their value, believe in their potential, and understand they are capable of overcoming obstacles and creating a strong future for themselves and their families.

- We match screened and background checked local volunteers with school selected students for one-on-one mentoring one hour a week.
- We help to bring in all-school speakers to help encourage the entire student body to make choices that positively impact their lives.
- We help create a consistent presence on campus to create opportunities to encourage students that are not part of the weekly mentoring program.
